Drive Michigan Forward (DMF) is a statewide coalition committed to restoring driver’s licenses for all Michigan’s undocumented immigrants and uplifting the dignity and respect for their lives. Because Michigan’s discriminatory license ban impacts the safety and freedom of undocumented people, we hold their experiences and wisdom up as our guide for change. The DMF coalition is building power by synthesizing the wisdom, expertise, creativity of undocumented people and allies to ensure the passage of DRIVE SAFE bills in the Michigan legislature. Our mission is rooted in the fight for liberation and dignity for all, and we do our work with a spirit of justice, respect, transparency, collaboration and love.
